The application that requires "approval" for online shopping with credit cards, which was announced to begin on August 17, has been extended until December 31. Users who do not give approval to their banks by this date will not be able to use their credit cards for online shopping.
According to the decision made by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK), from now on, credit cards will be sent to customers with the online shopping feature disabled.
If no approval is given, all individual bank cards and credit cards will be blocked for all electronic commerce transactions, both domestic and international. There are 3 methods for granting online shopping approval. Users can perform this operation via the bank's mobile application or website settings, by phone (Call or SMS), or by visiting a branch.
If you do not give approval, your bank and credit cards will be blocked for online shopping.
