Hotel Textile Products From Real Manufacturer
The process of towel manufacturing begins with the yarn being spun in industrial machines, followed by the dyeing process. The next step is the most crucial: weaving. Finally, the stitching process takes place. In just a few sentences, we have briefly explained how towels are made and the stages of production. Towels are produced by consumer companies in our country following the steps mentioned above, and they are then presented in their final form. The raw material used in towel production is cotton. This is because cotton plays a very important role in increasing the towel's standard and improving its water absorption capability. Along with cotton, small amounts of linen, corn, modal, lyocell, and seaweed are also used.
In recent years, microfiber polyester has started to be mixed with cotton and produced together. When compared to cotton, the microfiber polyester fiber is much softer, has superior color brightness, color fastness, and ease of maintenance.
Towels are produced in different constructions based on their intended use. The most important factor in towel fabric production is the weft density of 12-25 wefts per centimeter and the warp density of 18-30 warps per centimeter. Among the most commonly used methods in towel fabric production is the method of creating texture. During the towel weaving process, to maintain the uniformity of the pile height as much as possible, warp threads are processed with minimal obstruction. When designing towel fabrics, it is also desired to have certain areas without pile and to add borders or edges. When we look at towel weaving machines, we can observe real technological advancements in recent years. The pile formation, which was previously inconsistent, can now be achieved through cam mechanisms. Of course, this advancement has also introduced some challenges. To solve these issues, servomotor-driven pile formation mechanisms have been developed. These servomotors allow the pile height to be adjusted in two different ways during the weft process. Towel weaving machines are divided into three groups, and weaving beyond the basic group is not feasible.
In your wholesale towel purchases, another factor affecting the price is whether the towel is single-layer or double-layer. If there is a significant price difference between two towels of the same size, it is likely that one of them is a single-layer towel.
Single-Layer Towel: 16/1 Yarn
Double-Layer Towel: 20/2 Yarn
